Craig Thaxton

Craig is retired after 30 years of experience in municipal Parks and Recreation departments in the state of Utah. During his career he was responsible for acquisition, planning, installation and operation of parks, trails and community centers in the Salt Lake Valley. He graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Leisure. Craig served on the Jordan River Foundation Board of Trustees from 1999 to 2007 and again from 2012 to the present. He spends his retirement skiing, biking and traveling the US and world exploring and comparing leisure trails.
