Riverbend Natural Area

Riverbend Natural Area, 1000 West 13000 South, Draper, UT 84020, was constructed in 2002 by Salt Lake County as an emergent bench along a half mile eroding section of Jordan River. This and the surrounding 100 acres, became the Riverbend Natural Area. The site was regraded and riverbank stabilization techniques were used to restore the bank. Improvements included $80,000 in native trees, shrubs and hydro-seeding.
