Each September, the Jordan River Commission and Jordan River Foundation present the Get to the River Festival, a month-long celebration spanning the 50-mile Jordan River Parkway in Utah. Local organizations and communities collaborate to offer a rich variety of activities including outdoor adventures, environmental programs, artistic performances, and cultural events. The festival showcases the unique natural corridor running through Utah's Wasatch Front, drawing thousands of visitors annually.
This community-driven celebration creates lasting memories by connecting people with nature, wildlife, and each other while fostering appreciation for this vital urban waterway. Through recreation, education, and cultural experiences, the festival encourages both enjoyment and stewardship of this important natural resource.
