Bruce Holyoak is a Utah native, born and raised in Monticello, Utah. Where ihs father and grandfather were ranchers in the Grand and San Juan County areas. He has spent countless hours riding a horse, driving a jeep, or hiking all over Southeastern Utah, and all five of Utah’s National Parks. He loves camping with his wife and family and everything outdoors. He has a BA from Brigham Young University. He has lived in Murray, Utah for the last 40 years and in 30 of those years he has been working for Murray City Parks. He is currently the Park Superintendent for Murray Parks and has been involved with multiple activities, projects, and maintenance work on the Jordan River Parkway, as it runs through Murray City. He loves nature and all of its grandeur and beauty and is very appreciative of having a gem like the Jordan River and helping to preserve its uniqueness.
