Dani is a Salt Lake native who grew up amidst our lake, our mountains, and our whole great basin ecosystem. This connection to the great outdoors led her to earn a BS in Biology and in Environmental Studies from the University of Utah.
In order to share this love and knowledge with as many as possible, she decided to study for a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Westminster College. Since 2013, she has been a science teacher in the Salt Lake City School District where she is passionate about connecting her students to their community waterway - the Jordan River - for education, recreation and stewardship.
