Lynn is a retired Senior Landscape Architect for Salt Lake County Parks & Recreation, Planning, and Development Section, where he was employed for 24 years. Having graduated from Utah State University in 1973 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning, he went on to spend 18 years practicing Landscape Architecture in Arizona, Nevada, and Utah.
He has been a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects since 1975, serving as Secretary, President-Elect, and President. Lynn became a member of the Jordan River Foundation Board of Trustees in 2002. He also serves as Vice Chair of the Jordan River Commission Technical Advisory Committee. His pastime activities include biking, hiking, gardening, and spending time with his grandchildren.
